Recruitment is the process of searching for prospective employees and stimulating them to apply for jobs in the organization. It is a positive process as it attracts a pool of candidates.

• Nature: Positive process (invites all qualified), continuous, and linking activity.
• Sources: Internal (promotion, transfer, employee referral) and External (advertisement, campus, employment exchange, consultants, e-recruitment).
