Right Understanding
1. What This Reappearance Means (Module 2 context)
In Module 1, Right Understanding was the central goal. In Module 2, it is applied to two realities: Relationship (human-human) and Physical Facility (human-nature / body needs). So same term, now as lens for relationship + facility.
2. Right Understanding about Relationship
Means understanding the Self of the other as Self-like (conscious) and the feelings (trust, respect) that arise naturally when evaluated correctly. Without it, relationship is assumed on body, post, wealth.
3. Right Understanding about Physical Facility
Means understanding that need for facility is limited and quantifiable, and that more facility ≠ more happiness beyond required. It guides production, sharing, and consumption within nature's capacity.
4. Why Both Together
Human wants happiness (needs right feeling in relationship) and prosperity (needs facility) — right understanding about both ensures neither is mistaken for the other (e.g., trying to get respect via facility).
5. Exam Note
If question repeats "Right Understanding" in Module 2, answer with application to relationship and facility, linking to Module 1's four levels.
6. Exam Points
- Show right understanding covers relationship and facility — 3-5 marks, frequent (often asked to repeat with new context).
